Next year I'm going to go to college. I'm going to go to Wellington Girls College. I'm very excited to go to college next year because it will be a new and fun experience. Next year I want to try to make lots of new friends. I am looking forward to  orientation week at wellington girls next year. Some things that could be challenging next year is to be organised  and remembering to do my homework. It will also be challenging to remember where all my classes are and trying to not get lost because it is quite a big school.

Book week

My 2 favorite book week events were the golden ticket treasure hunting and Kate De Goldi . I wasn't at school on Friday so I couldn't dress up as a book character otherwise that would definitely have been my favorite. I couldn't think of anything else I did at book week.

The best book week event would have to be the golden ticket treasure hunting. I really enjoyed it. It was really fun and challenging trying to work out the clues that led to the golden ticket. India, Niamh and I found a golden ticket in the P.E shed. We got a chocolate bar which he had to cut into 3 pieces.

Kate De Goldi came to talk to us about her books. She is an author of  a lot of books. She gave us a lot of interesting information about her writing career and her books. It was very interesting to hear how she wrote her books and how she started off writing. I really liked the sound of her books and I think I will read a few of the books that she showed us.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar





When I was younger my favourite book was called the very hungry caterpillar. It was about a caterpillar who ate lots of food that wasn't for caterpillars like Ice-cream, cake and lolly-pops. The caterpillar eats lots of food for seven days and then turns into a butterfly. The thing I liked about the book is all the pictures and how they created the book. I was about four of five when I read the book and I used to read it over and over because I liked it so much.
