Grandparents

I don’t often see my grandparents as they live quite far away from where I live but I do remember when it was Christmas Eve and I was about 3 or 4 years old.
 
My best friend and I were neighbours at the time and my grandma told us that if we didn't go to bed at 7 o clock that we would not get any presents in the morning. We both ran as fast as we could to our bedrooms and pretended to sleep. I then remember getting up in the night to check if my presents were still there. It’s quite funny now that I think about it and how I seriously thought that I might not get anything for Christmas.

Holidays

In the holidays I usually just rode horses all day. Each day I rode about 5 horses. It was really fun riding my horses all day because after school I only have time to ride about 3. At the stable it was really cold and the grass would be covered in a layer of frost each morning. In the holidays it was raining as well so all the dirt turned into mud and the mud was up to my knees in some places! I also went to the beach with my friend. It was really fun.  All we did all day was ride the horses up an down the beach we also jumped over logs. The sand got all over them and it was really hard to wash it off as it was sticking to them. Overall my holiday was really fun and I enjoyed it a lot.
