Nairnville
For the past term we have been going to Nairnville. Going to Nairnville is really fun and I really enjoy it. Last week we did football. I have enjoyed gymnastics the most as it was really fun. I have also learned the basics of soccer. I think I have been pushing myself to improve as I find myself improving every week. To get more out of the sessions I think maybe try to listen a bit more. One other sport I would like to learn is tennis.

German
This terms German lessons have been going really well. I really enjoy learning about German and would like to carry on doing it . There are lots of things I have learnt such as how to greet somebody and ask their age. I think I will continue learning German in college as I have already learned the basics. Knowing a little bit of German could be useful in the future for instance if I go to Germany.

School Values
In our school we have four values empathy, creativity, integrity and perseverance. This week I think I demonstrated one of our school values by persevering and finishing my writing when I really didn't want to. The most easiest value for me to do is probably to show empathy towards others because all you have to do is be kind. The hardest value for me to do is to probably show integrity.

Dare to Dream By Kate Lattey
Dare to Dream is a book based in New Zealand. Marley and her two older sisters live on a farm. As Marley is underage her eldest sister is her legal guardian. Marley never finishes her homework and much prefers to work on the farm all day. Her sisters work hard all day training ponies to sell. Marley is sick of never having a good pony to ride. Then a special pony comes along and her dreams begin to grow. An interesting quote from the book is “Never tell her that something is impossible, because she'll kill herself proving you wrong.”
